June is National Rose month and that means it’s time for rose shows. The TCRC rose show this year is an American Style show, Roses in the Rainbow – A Celebration of Color. It will be held at Bachman’s on Lyndale Avenue So on Saturday June 22- Sunday, June 23. Schedules for the show are available on this website and will also be available in printed form at tonight’s meeting.

There will be pictures from previous rose show winners, demonstrating how to present your roses in a variety of ways. And this year’s show will include 11 photography classes, so don’t overlook that section of the schedule and submit your best rose photos.

What is meant by frontal presentation? What’s the difference between exhibition form and decorative form? What is wedging and how do you use it? What’s an exhibitor number and how do I get one? What’s the correct way to fill out an entry tag?

If this is your first – or your 31st – rose show, this meeting is a must for you to attend and a good review for the seasoned exhibitor. Remember, you need not be a member of TCRC to enter your roses ( or your photos) in the show. Come to tonight’s meeting to learn the ins and outs and the fine points of exhibiting.
