TCRC May Meeting 7:30 pm

Many of you have been wondering when we would have another in-person meeting. Well, here it is! Our May 15th meeting is an in-person meeting at the church and our speaker is also live, in person! Bruce and Maggie Barr are traveling all the way from Milwaukee for Bruce to give us a presentation on arrangements titled Arrangements: A Spectator Sport.

Bruce is the current national chair of ARS arrangement judges and has just overseen the revising of the Guidelines For Judging Arrangements. An avid and talented arranger himself, he has won many national and district awards for his extremely creative rose designs. For the last twenty years or more, Bruce and Lois Ann Helgeson have been the instructors for the design workshop at the North Central District’s spring meeting. Bruce is an ARS arrangement judge, horticulture judge and Master Rosarian. He is currently studying Ikabana, the art of Japanese flower arranging and last May he attended an Ikabana school in Japan. Bruce is a lively and very entertaining speaker. Since he is coming all the way from Milwaukee to visit with his TCRC friends,I hope you will plan on attending what should be a very entertaining presentation on Arrangements: A Spectator Sport.
