Rose of the Month ~ October 2003

Carefree Beauty

This time of year, we are especially appreciating our low maintenance roses. Carefree Beauty's name says it all. This Buck rose was introduced in 1977. It is a medium sized shrub with medium pink semi-double blooms that repeat later in the season. The ARS gives it a rating of 8.7 and it has shown to be hardy here in Zone 4 with good disease resistance. Click the photos below to see a larger image and add your rating to our poll.
