Rose of the Month ~ September 2006

Bronze Star

Bronze Star is an apricot blend hybrid tea, bred by Weeks and introduced in the United States in 2000 by Conard-Pyle. The blooms are very large and ruffled with a strong spicy fragrance. Foliage is medium green on a 4-6' bush. As a hybrid tea, Bronze Star is only hardy to Zone 5/6 so it requires winter protection here in Zone 4. What is your experience with Bronze Star?
