Rose of the Month ~ September 2004

Firefighter

To honor and pay tribute to the victims of the attack on September 11, 2001 an organization called Remember Me Rose Garden is building three rose gardens, one each in New York, Washington, D. C., and Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Three hundred forty three firefighters lost their lives while trying to save others in the World Trade Center. This rose also honors those men and women and all of those who risk their lives daily to protect the public.

It is a dark red bloom with a strong, sweet fragrance with 40-45 petals. What is your experience with Firefighter? Rate it in the poll below.
