Rose of the Month ~ July/August 2007

Burgundy Iceberg

Due to the lateness of my updating and the great potential of this new rose, Burgundy Iceberg will be our rose of the month for July and August. A new introduction in 2007, Burgundy Iceberg is creating quite a stir among the rosarians I toured gardens with during the national convention earlier this month. A dark red floribunda, it is a sport of Brilliant Pink Iceberg. It blooms continuously on a medium sized rounded bush. In cooler temperatures the blooms darken to purple.
