Rose of the Month ~ June 2006

Hawkeye Belle

Hawkeye Belle is an shrub rose bred in 1975 by Dr. Griffith Buck. The blooms are ivory white to light pink with plump, pointed buds borne in clusters opening to 4" blooms. There is a sweet scent and repeat bloom through summer and fall. It is a good mixed border plant where a vigorous shrub of average growth is desired. What is your experience with Hawkeye Belle?
