Rose of the Month ~ April 2007

Miss Flippins

Miss Flippins, a cross of Elizabeth Taylor x Kristin was introduced in 1997. Since then it has held a strong presence on the show tables across the country. It is a medium-red miniature with dark green foliage on a compact, 2 foot bush. The blooms repeat well throughout the summer. While the fragrance is minimal, the high-centered exhibition form blooms are spectacular in arrangements and in the garden. Like most miniatures, it requires winter protection in Zone 4.
