Rose of the Month ~ February 2007

Angel Face

Angel Face is a popular floribunda rose, introduced in 1968. It's deep-mauve blooms are formed of up to 40 ruffled petals carried both singly and in clusters. They open with high centers and open to show yellow stamens. Plenty of sunshine brings out the best in this rose. The dark green, leathery foliage sets off the blooms that repeat throughout the summer. It has some susceptibility to blackspot and requires winter protection in our Zone 4 climate.
