Rose of the Month ~ January 2006

Cinderella

Cinderella is classified as a miniature or micro-mini. It is indeed a very small 10" plant with dime sized white or light pink blooms. It is a cross of Cécile Brunner x Tom Thumb and it was introduced in 1953 and named for Walt Disney's Cinderella movie, released in 1950. The blooms are exhibition form and repeat over the summer. Cinderella makes a great container rose and works in small borders too. It requires winter protection in Zone 4. What is your experience with Cinderella? Rate it in the poll below.
